Growth & GTMConsultant x AI
Senior marketing leadership for Swiss scale-ups and SMBs — interim, fractional, or project-based.
Trusted by

If your growth has stalled, you can't find the right marketing leader, or past agencies didn't deliver — I can probably help.
I've spent 20+ years figuring out how to do more with less. Started in 2001 analyzing how the internet disrupts business models. Went through every wave since — digital marketing, mobile, data-driven growth, and now AI.
I don't have all the answers. But I've seen enough patterns to know where to look first.
I Asked AI to Analyze 18 Client Testimonials. Here Are the Patterns It Found.
| What They Said | How They Said It |
|---|---|
| Deep, broad expertise | "Immense knowledge" · "Vast experience" · "Highly skilled expert" · "Knows the mechanics" |
| Strategic AND hands-on | "Counsel as well as hands-on operational work" · "Strategic perspective and operational execution" · "Gets things done" |
| Data-driven, not guessing | "Every statement backed by solid data" · "Lives and breathes data-driven" · "Scientific method approach" |
| Builds systems that last | "Foundation of a completely new strategy" · "Growth models and efficient processes" · "Framework to shape mindset & skills" |
| Fast to useful clarity | "Good picture of our situation in a really short time" · "Immediate impact" · "Anticipates problems before they arise" |
| Honest about limits | "Admits if he doesn't know something" · "Very appreciated" |
One quote that summarises it all
Read the originals on LinkedIn"As with many experts, there was a risk it would all be talk and no substance, but Vincent brought specific, valuable experience and know-how that takes a long time to acquire.
His advice established common language and frameworks that were previously absent, aiding our growth even beyond the engagement period.
Vincent challenged many aspects, which was enormously valuable — something no agency could or would do.
It's rare to find freelancers like Vincent; most with his level of expertise are in high-paying positions."
Who I Help
Founders & CEOs doing GTM themselves
You're building and selling. I take GTM off your plate or give you the system to scale it.
Marketing leads who need senior sparring
You know your craft but need strategic guidance, a second opinion, or help leveling up — not just high-level thinking, but how to actually get it done.
Companies without a CMO
You need senior marketing leadership but can't justify (or find) a full-time hire.
How I Help
Clarity Before Action
Before I change anything, I make sure we understand what's actually going on — what's broken, what isn't, where to focus.
Sometimes that's a quick diagnostic, sometimes a deeper audit: strategy, channels, processes, skills, data.
The goal isn't a report. It's clarity on what's worth fixing and what isn't. No endless strategy conversations. Enough clarity to act.
Execution, Not Just Advice
I don't hand you a report and disappear. I build the systems, run the plays, and stay until they work.
Where it makes sense, I bring in AI to do more with less — but always with humans in the loop.
Then we figure out what's next: upskill your team, bring in a specialist, or hire someone to take over.
Senior Thinking, Flexible Format
CMO-level expertise without the full-time commitment.
Interim, fractional, or project-based — whatever fits your stage or need.
20 years of patterns means faster diagnosis, fewer wrong turns, and less money spent learning the hard way.
Senior thinking on problems that matter. Hands-on when needed.
Services
Growth Audit
Find what's broken, build a plan to fix it.
You get clarity on priorities plus a game plan you can execute yourself — or I help you build the system.
Growth Leadership
Senior marketing leadership — interim, fractional, or ongoing.
I diagnose what's broken, build the systems to fix it, and stay until it works.
GTM System Build
ABM plays, outbound sequences, data enrichment, signal-based targeting — the tactical stuff that gets clients.
I look at your specific situation, figure out what makes sense, and help you build it. Every use case is different.
AI Marketing Readiness
AI in marketing is moving fast — hard to know what's hype and what's useful. Most teams either ignore it or overestimate it.
I help you figure out what's worth automating, what still needs humans, and where to start. Nobody has all the answers yet — but if you're ready to explore it seriously, we can figure it out.
About
Today I work as interim or fractional CMO for Swiss scale-ups and SMBs. I diagnose what's broken, build the systems to fix it, and stay until it works.
What I bring:
- Former CMO at Rocket Internet / Jumia (Africa's first unicorn, NYSE listed)
- 80+ companies advised — from startups to Novartis, Swisscom, Ricola, Moneypark
- Innosuisse-accredited coach
- HWZ Lecturer in Growth Marketing
- Co-author of "Think Growth" (bestseller)
I bring 20+ years of pattern recognition and modern AI-native systems. The goal is always the same: do more with less.
Based in Zurich since 2014. If any of this resonates, send me a message.

Problems I See → Solutions I've Built
"We're running ads but nothing converts"
Full diagnostic — funnel, conversion, retention, sometimes PMF. I stay until it works or help you find the right person to hand over to.
"We need senior marketing leadership but can't afford full-time"
I plug into your existing team — whether that's a marketing lead who needs guidance or a founder doing GTM. We find ways to upskill and get the right execution at the right level.
"Agencies gave us reports, not results"
I've seen the fancy PowerPoints. I extract them into a spreadsheet and look at what's actually happening. Often what's labelled "branding" is just stuff they didn't measure — or impact that was never achieved.
"Growth was working, then it stopped"
Channels expire. I find what's exhausted, what's still working, and what should be baking for next quarter.
"We're unfocused — so much to do, don't know where to start"
I help you cut through the noise and find the 20% that actually moves the needle. Clarity on biggest impact first.
What I Do (and Don't Do)
What I get hands-on with:
- Email flows — writing, sequencing, automation
- Conversion rate optimization — A/B testing, funnel analysis
- Ad account reviews — copy, targeting, funnel diagnosis
- Headlines & value propositions — messaging that converts
- UX research — usability testing, conversion research
- Website & landing page strategy — what to test, what to fix
What I don't run day-to-day (and why):
I've been doing digital marketing since 2006 — SEO, AdWords, paid social, content, even building websites. I know the mechanics.
But ad management is a fast-moving, specialized skill. The person running your Google or Meta ads should be doing it every day, not as one of ten things. It's also not hard to find.
What I do instead: review your ad accounts, diagnose what's broken in the funnel, fix the messaging and targeting strategy, then hand it to someone who runs ads full-time — often from my network.
If you need me to run ads temporarily, I can. But I'll tell you when it's time to hand off.
The T-shaped reality:
I'm a T-shaped marketer: broad knowledge across channels, deep expertise in strategy, systems, and conversion. For the hands-on work I don't specialize in, I bring in people I trust. Anything else wouldn't be serious.
For Companies Searching for a Marketing Hire
The job descriptions I see often list 5-7 specializations in one role. Performance marketing, analytics, CRO, brand, events — all in one person.
These profiles are rare. And when they exist, they're often not looking for employment.
One approach that works: build the system first with external help, then hire someone less senior to maintain it.
